Welcome To Matrushri Meghbai Premji Jetha Hospital & Research Centre


The Establishment of a hospital to provide medical services not available in the kutch district was concieved in 1998 by the philanthropists of the community and the foundation stone was laid on 31st december 1998 by Shri Keshubhai Patel,the then Chief minister of Gujarat with a munificent donation by the chief patron of the hospital Shri Keshavlal P Patel of Fotdi village. The hospital was inaugurated on 31st december 2000 and it commenced its medical services from that day.

Located on Bhuj - Mundra Road, at a distance of only 1 k.m. from the jubilee Circle, Matrushri Meghbai Premji Jetha Hospital commenced its services to general public on 2nd October, 2000 , with a view to provide superspecialty diagnostic & medical facilites so far not existing in kutch District. It played a crucial role in providing emergency medical aid to the victims of devastating earthquake of 26th January, 2001 when the entire medical infrastructure in Kutch District had crumbled.

The motto of the hospital is to provide the highest standard of diagnostic & medical service at the lowest possible cost so as to be affordable to the poorest section of society.
